Across years of clinical practice, Dr. Eduardo Jacques saw the same pattern: patients arrived with important questions, but information was scattered, preparation was difficult, and limited appointment time was often spent rebuilding context.
At the same time, people searching for a physician online often found little beyond an address and anonymous commentary. That did not help them understand the physician, the practice, or how to prepare.
“What if better public information could help the patient arrive more prepared and help the visit begin with greater clarity?”
That question became ProfileMD: a patient-facing public layer built around professional accountability, understandable guidance, privacy boundaries, and respect for the time patients and physicians share.
